We are currently in Stage 4. Clearlake is at -1.84 feet on the rumsey scale.

Some customers may temporarily experience a different taste, color and/or odor to their water, due to rising temperatures and an algae bloom in Clear Lake, which we obtain our water. We treat the water to make it safe to use and drink. While unpleasant, please be assured that the taste, color and odor are aesthetic issues only; we rigorously test and monitor water quality, and it continues to meet all federal and state standards set to protect public health. In the meantime, you can refrigerate an open pitcher of water, which will help the odor dissipate faster. ATTENTION CUSTOMERS

Would you like to monitor your water usage? Download the Eye On Water App from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. You will need to enter your account number and zip code to access your account. If you need assistance please call the office at (707)274-1149. Eye On Water will allow you to set up email or text alerts to notify you of a water leak at your house.

Card Processing Fee

Starting March 1 2020 there will be a 3% processing fee on credit/debit card payments. Nice Mutual Water Company has been paying the processing fees to run credit/debit card payments. This causes customers who don’t use credit/debit cards to pay their bill to subsidize the processing fees for the customer who do use credit/debit cards. Payments can also be made with checks, money orders and cash. If you are unable to make it to the office during office hours there is a drop box in the door you can submit your payment through. Payments can also be mailed to Nice Mutual Water Company at P.O. Box 578, Nice, CA 95464-0578. Please call our office at (707)274-1149 if you have any questions.

*ALERT*

POWER OUTAGES 

During planned or unplanned power outages, strict water conservation Is REQUIRED. This means NO outside water usage and minimal inside usage. We must conserve water so we will have enough water for fire protection. Nice Mutual Water Co has rented a generator to run the treatment plant during a planned or unplanned power outage. We will only be able to produce a limited amount of water. 

Monthly Public Meetingsare held the (3rd) third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Board Room at Nice Mutual Water Company, 3246 Lakeshore Blvd. Nice, CA.

Annual Shareholders Meeting is held the (4th) fourth Saturday of June at 1:00pm in the Board Room at Nice Mutual Water Company, 3246 Lakeshore Blvd. Nice, CA.
